Why is it worth travelling to Hungary for my dental treatment? You can make substantial savings on your dental treatment as compared to prices in the UK and at the same time – in between your treatment sessions – you can have a relaxing and highly enjoyable time in the beautiful city of Budapest. And with Dentist Hungary, you can have your initial consultation with our London dentist at his London clinic without having to travel to Hungary.
How do I arrange my trip? Dentist Hungary will gladly advise you on all aspects of your trip, such as your options for flying to Budapest, your choice of accommodation and on how best to spend your leisure time in Budapest. Our representative will meet you at the airport, drive you to your hotel and accompany you to your first visit to our clinic.
Where can I stay? Dentist Hungary will advise you on your choice of hotel depending on your budget and fields of interest. There is a good choice of very reasonably priced comfortable hotels within walking distance of our clinic. We can recommend you hotels with thermal spa facilities and a variety of therapeutic treatments to help your relaxation in between your treatments.
How much advance notice is needed?
It is advisable to book your tickets at least four weeks in advance in order to get reasonably priced tickets, particularly in busy holiday periods. There is a wide choice of airlines flying to Budapest from all the major London airports and you should be able to get very reasonably priced tickets if you book well in advance. As far as your appointments at our clinic are concerned, we will do our utmost to book you in at the date and time of your choice.
How long should I stay for?
This depends on the nature of the treatment in your particular case. One of the many advantages we offer at Dentist Hungary is that you will be invited for a consultation by our resident dentist in his Central London surgery. There is no need for you to make a trip to Hungary in order to decide on the details of your treatment. Dr. Szasz, our highly experienced London dentist will examine you initially and discuss with you the various options for your treatment. He will then liaise with our Budapest Clinic, who will put together a detailed costed plan for you. This plan will make it clear how many days the treatment will take and whether it is necessary for you to make more than one visit. You will be able to discuss the plan with Dr. Szasz who will give you impartial advice such that you will be in a position to make your decision without the need to travel to Hungary first.
What about any language problems?
All the dentists treating UK patients are proficient English speakers and most of the support staff are also fluent in English. You will find that English is widely spoken in Budapest, particularly in establishments frequented by tourists. Should you be interested in learning a few useful phrases in Hungarian, our UK representative will be happy to teach you some! How much money can I save?
It is impossible to give you an exact estimate prior to your consultation with us at our London Dental Centre. You will get an idea from our dentist there as to the likely UK cost for the treatment you require. Once you have received the costed treatment plan from our clinic in Budapest you will be able to make a comparison. With some treatments the saving can be as high as 70% but you may safely assume savings of the order of 50-70 % depending on the nature of your treatment. Even if the savings are nearer the 50% mark, the cost of your flight(s) to Budapest and your expenses in Budapest would be insignificant when compared to the savings made.
What does Budapest offer me?
You will have plenty of time whilst in Budapest, to enjoy your stay in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities on the banks of the river Danube. Whatever your interest, Budapest has plenty to offer. Budapest is particularly famous for its thermal baths which would offer you pleasant relaxation between your treatments. Some hotels have their own thermal spa facilities. For the art enthusiasts, there are plenty of museums and galleries. For those interested in music there are plenty of concerts and a visit to Budapest’s State Opera House would be most worth while. Then there is the world-famous Sziget festival (http://www.sziget.hu/fesztival/?language=en )held every Summer on an island on the Danube. The Jewish Summer Festival is held at the end of August-beginning of September every year and its aim is to introduce Jewish culture and heritage. The range of events and things to do is endless and Dentist Hungary will be happy to assist you in order to ensure that you make most of your stay in Budapest whilst getting your teeth sorted out.
What are your payment terms? We ask for no advance payment for your dental treatment. You settle with our clinic direct at the end of each stage of treatment.. You may pay by bank debit card, credit card, cash (GBP, EUR or HUF) or by bank transfer (in advance).
Bank drafts and cheques are not accepted by our clinic.
What if there is some remedial work needing to be done?
Should there be a need for some minor adjustments, we havethe advantage that our resident dentist in Central London will attend to that free of charge. In the unlikely event of some major repair work needing to be done, we will do our best to arrange for a dentist from our Budapest clinic to come to London in order to sort out the problem without your having to travel back to Hungary. Wherever the remedial work is done, you are covered by our guarantee.
